Metro Line P opens its third station — what changes for El Poblado
The cable car extension to the eastern hills is now operational. Here's how to use it, what it costs, and the one thing nobody tells you about the timing.
The Metro's cable car extension to the eastern hills opened its third station this week. For visitors staying in El Poblado, this changes the day-trip math: the eastern comunas are now ~45 minutes door-to-door instead of an Uber-then-prayer.
The fare is still 3,200 COP — same as the rest of the Metro. The view from the climbing cars is genuinely better than Parque Arvi's. The one thing nobody tells you: the line opens at 9am on weekends, not 5am. Don't show up with a sunrise plan.
Full piece coming. For now: try the new station mid-morning Saturday, breakfast at the top.
